    RCACHM’26 WAIVER:
    As consideration for being allowed to participate in the Run Club Abuja Charity Half Marathon 2026 (RCACHM’26) – a 5km/10km/21.1km run/walk, I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:

    1. Assumption of Risk:
    I understand that my participation in the RCACHM’26 involves risks, including but not limited to, injury or death from walking, running or any other physical activity associated with the event. I hereby agree that i, my assignees, heirs, guardians or legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue or attack any member of the Run Club Abuja or destroy the property of the promoters, sponsors and partners, for any and all injuries or damage arising from my participation in the Charity Half Marathon 2026.

    2. Release and Indemnification :
    I release and hold harmless the Run Club Abuja, its administrators, directors, volunteers, sponsors, partners, collectively or individually from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action that I or my heirs, executors, administrators or assignee may have for any damages, losses or expenses arising from my participation in the run.

    3. Medical Certification:
    I represent and certify that i am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the CHM’26. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a medical professional before embarking on the run.

    4. Emergency Medical Treatment:
    In the event of an emergency, I authorise Run Club Abuja to provide emergency medical treatment, including but not limited to first aid, CPR, and calling for other appropriate emergency services.

    5. Photography and Video Release:
    I grant permission to the Run Club Abuja to take and publish photographs and videos of me during the event in any broadcast, telecast, social media or any other form of media.

    6. Acknowledgement:
    I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract between myself and the Run Club Abuja as well as its promoters, sponsors, and partners. I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of the Run Club Abuja Charity Half Marathon 2026 (RCACHM’26).
