šŗļø RCACHM 2025 Routes
Good morning Abuja.
Arise and shine run!!!!!
You know what time it is. Running the capital city of Nigeria is a mean feat achieved by those who have the grit, and you are that runner.
This is the 5th edition of the Run Club Abuja Charity Half Marathon. If previous editions are an indication of what is to come, you know you are lacing up for a blast.
Date is still Saturday, July 12 and take-off/finish location is Central Park. We’re back again because we had a swell time here last year.
It’s time to show you own these roads!
We highly recommend you arrive by 5.45AM. Pre-run activities will start by 6AM.
Our pre run activities will begin at 6AM and will take 15 minutes. In that time, we will stretch, do warm-ups and wake our legs and muscles up! They need to know we’re counting on them to take us on this beautiful journey through these wide, scenic roads of Abuja!
Once it is 6:20AM, we take off and keep the start line open for only 15minutes. After the start line is closed, anyone starting the run will not be our responsibility and may miss out on the services of volunteers and hydration stations along the way.
We are prepared to cater to whichever of the three distances you want to run, 5km, 10km or the half marathon.
Our route is designed to take you through some of the most picturesque parts of Abuja: Central Business District, Maitama, Wuse 2.
And at the finish line, you are going to get the best medal ever given at a race event in this country. You doubt it? Ask those who have run the previous editions. You are looking at the crown piece of your medal collection, a medal you will be proud to show off to others. You think we can’t do better than last year’s colorful design? You’re about to find out we can!
As always, it is a party at the finish line, so the fun does not stop on the course. In fact, the finish line is where the fun begins, but to get there, you have to run the course.
